A Beautiful Fall Afternoon

We picked up Josh from the 100 year Boy Scout Camporee in Lyons and thought it was the perfect time of year for a drive through the Park(Rocky Mountain).

We saw four batches of elk. A Bull and Cow each crossed the road right by our car... the others were at a distance and we choose not to get out of the car like Tom, Dick and Harry.

We also many Trout in the stream at Sprague Lake and a handful of Ducks.

We saw many beautiful fall colors... and lots of CUTE Kids!

They all wanted to put their feet in the water but it was getting late. But we snuck it in (maybe skipping the ice cream waiting for us at home??... NO WAY!!) and Brie thought it was COLD!!!

I am so thankful to live in such a beautiful place!
